The Apprentices and Interns in our
APPRENTICESHOP build vessels from eight to thirty feet. The boats are beautiful
and through them our program remains dedicated to the development of caring, skilled and
resourceful students. Our graduates now work
throughout the world, in yards, shops, museums,
schools, and community organizations.
Our SEAMANSHIP programs provided sailing instruction and experience for youth and adults in the greater Rockland community and beyond.
Community sailing programs, interclub events, the high school team, and regional regattas remind young
mariners that they are part of a larger maritime community. Local
support and scholarships ensure that students in need are able to participate.
Young and old, we work and learn together as students, craftsmen,
mariners, and educators -- with your help. Your contribution to Atlantic Challenge helps insure the continuation of our programs.
