Status

Extensive keel/forefoot replacement finished. Plank replacement and repair throughout hull. New transom fitted. Next steps: fully refastening planks and refitting or replacing floor timbers.

Details

The Haj (Swedish for "Shark", "Hai" in Finnish) was Introduced in 1931 and accepted as a type class in 1932, and this restoration vessel is from a small fleet imported for racing in Camden, Maine in 1933. 31'6" length overall, 6'3" wide, she is a sleek, fast classic.
